Dr Prabin P Dev is a highly skilled Dermatologist known for his expertise in core dermatology, immunology, and dermatopathology, as well as proficiency in cosmetological procedures. He has a strong background in diagnosing and treating various dermatological conditions, along with performing procedures such as biopsies, cryotherapy, chemical peels, radiofrequency surgery, and laser treatments. He is currently associated with the Skin Clinic at our Center.
Dr Prabin P Dev began his academic journey at Government Medical College Alappuzha for his undergraduate studies, followed by post-graduation in Dermatology at VMMC and Safdarjung Hospital, New Delhi, a prestigious institution in India.
His contributions to the field are significant, evident through his numerous publications in esteemed international journals like the Journal of the European Academy of Dermatology and Venereology, Australasian Journal of Dermatology, and Mycosis. He has also presented his research at various international and national platforms.
Notably, Dr. Dev received a full scholarship to present his research on “Bridging the Gap in Clino-epidemiology: A Retrospective Study of Gonorrhea Patients from a Tertiary Care Centre in India” at the International Pathogenic Neisseria Conference in Cape Town in 2022. Additionally, he showcased his research on “Systemic Immune Dysfunction in Dermatophytosis: A Cross-Sectional Analytic Study of Serum Levels of Interleukins-2, 8, 10, and 17” at the World Congress of Dermatology in Singapore in 2023.
Dr Prabin P Dev has also achieved success in prestigious dermatology quizzes, securing first and second prizes in events like the Delhi State Dermatology Quiz (IADVL) in 2022 and the National Dermatology Quiz (AIIMS-PGIMER) in 2023. He is an active member of the Indian Association of Dermatologists, Venereologists, and Leprologists (IADVL).
