Dandruff (Seborrheic Dermatitis) is a very common and chronic inflammatory condition usually formed on the oily areas of the body such as scalp, face, and chest.  Common causes include Malassezia yeast that is a natural fungus on the skin and over production of Sebum can feed the yeast.  Symptoms include itchy scalp or skin flakes on scalp, hair, eyebrows, beard, etc.

Dandruff can be treated with medicated shampoos, topical anti-fungals or steroids.  For specific guidance, consult your dermatologist.
